Is near 's Graventafel, on the place where stood a mill until end 1914 (200 yards west from the cross road at 's Graventafel).
Korek was a strongpoint of the germans on the Mittel Riegel (part of 's Graventafel spur and link between Wilhelm Stellung and Flander I stelling at Tyne Cot).
Korek was excavated by the Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 and proof was found of the story about Sgt Petterson who captured the main bunker of this field fortress.
